The worm is my favorite so far (though I haven’t finished Ward and Top Cooke Blood Run Through My Vein Shirt I’m still moderately early on Twig), but Pact has hands down the best setting and world-building. I mean Sanderson wrote 19000 words in a day on New Year’s Eve. That’s definitely an impressive work ethic. Sanderson is nuts. While writing Shadows of Self, he got stuck, so he wrote Bands of Mourning, the next book in the series, to figure out how that book would finish.
