I’ve been a fan since I was a child in the early ’90s. I sat through 20 years of Good Snell- Morton- Glasnow- Tampa K Official T-Shirt losing seasons, watching every favorite player I had end up elsewhere, but this trade broke me. Now Marte is in AZ, C-Dick is somewhere else, and Meadows and Glasnow are in Tampa. Classic fucking Buccos. Fuck Bob Nutting. I’m convinced it was because ownership wanted to make a point to the clamoring fanbase. They had their chances to go all-in after the 2013 run, and evidence of a trade like that working in Marlon Byrd. But nope.

The Archer deal felt like the FO telling us to shut the fuck up Good Snell- Morton- Glasnow- Tampa K Official T-Shirt. Meadows hasn’t done anything to really impress and Glasnow has been awful. This is the kind of trade we’ve been on the opposite side of. You are getting downvoted but you are right at least on the archer stuff. he was never worse than a solid #2 with the Rays and at best he had the best pitch in baseball with his slider. Rays usually suck when they leave the Rays. We’ve tried to make 3 speed, strikeout pitchers into ground ball pitchers and they’ve been all-stars, my young candidates elsewhere.
