Man, I grew up in Ringgold. It shocked me a little to see “Powhatan, Louisiana” because I grew up running those roads in between Coushatta and Funny Melting Moon Shirt Natchitoches like I owned them. Great to see art coming from that area, much love! It’s amazing how beautiful this area is. It can just be hard to find sometimes. Small little gas stations all around Louisiana have the best damn crawfish pies and crawfish boudin you’ll ever eat as well. Anybody that doesn’t know what it is isn’t buying it. And anyone who knows isn’t unless it’s good.

Caught this picture of the moon yesterday! I spent the last few days planning and scouting out this shot and Funny Melting Moon Shirt I’m really happy with the result. This a single image (no photoshop) taken with a 400 mm telephoto lens. I edited it in Lightroom to boost the shadows, but the moon was actually that color. I did not alter the color in any way; that’s what it really looks like on the horizon. I recommend everyone finding some flat farmland to watch a moon rise some time. Although tonight it may look a little more gold on the horizon. Yesterday was nice and pink because it was so close to sunset it still picked up some of the evening hues.

I know you said that you didn’t change the color, but there’s a bit of Funny Melting Moon Shirt a telltale halo around the leaves of the trees suggesting that this is an HDR tone-mapped composite. I want that lens so bad. The longest focal length I have is 200mm. How do you like the lens? Do you use it often? I love it. Picked it up used for around $750 I think. It’s great for moon work and I use it a ton for wildlife. I still end up cropping a bit for animals, but still like the result.
