As somebody that’s been an alcoholic and Funny May Contain Alcohol Shirt only been sober since January this year, it’s SHOCKING how easily you can hide this problem to others and more honestly yourself by just excusing it away by looking at a silly meme or a TV show or whatever. “Well, their tweet said they’re having a glass of wine on a Weds morning so when I do it it’s fine” like no. Or “if that person on TV is drinking all the time I’m fine” or I’d make a joke about it, like that became my personality.

Ya know the biggest hilarity was that I drank heavily for Funny May Contain Alcohol Shirt 20 years, from basically 14 through 34, and very few people ever sat me down or mentioned it. I gave up drink and took up exercise and eating well, and I lost weight, a decent wedge of weight and I’ve never felt better. I enjoy every day, I’m not scared (alcohol was a huge contribution to my health anxiety) and I have plans. It took so many attempts for me to get there.
